July 2008:
Polly is doing great... We had her longing in a bridle, surcingle, and side reins at the w/t/c. She also stands for her mane to be pulled and her face and legs clipped. We are getting ready to start her again and get her gentled to the saddle and rider, which I don't see as terribly challenging for her, as she has taken everything else in stride! We love her so much, she has the most wonderful personality, and is so well behaved and willing to try.

2008:
Just wanted to give you an update on how things are going for myself and Miss Sadie. She is looking great and behaving well, though admittedly a little spoiled (she knows she can pull tricks with my dad). My friend and I started her under saddle this summer. It was so cool to finally ride her for the first time and she handled it like a pro. She can do light walk/trot work under-saddle, but I'm waiting until she finishes growing to go further. She's just about 15hh at her withers and her rear is about 2 inches higher. I know she'll even out one day! Her ground manners are still impeccable, of course.
